  • Do I need an appointment to view your collections in person?
    Convenience and serving the needs of our clients is our top priority. To better provide one-on-one service, CLOTH HALL is available to meet by appointment only. We are available to meet with you at your preferred location or project site, and we are happy to schedule virtual meetings. Our regular business hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm.   • What if I have something in mind for my project, but don't really see what I'm looking for on your website?
    Our website provides an introduction to our collections. Our core offering is much more extensive than what is pictured.   • Can I purchase your products if I'm not affiliated with a designer?
    We invite everyone to visit our website at www.clothhall.ca and view our collections. If you are interested in placing an order for a personal project, please contact info@clothhall.ca. Please note, the majority of our collections require a minimum order volume per order. Minimum order volumes vary by collection and will be provided as part of the quotation process.
  • Can I commission a custom design if I'm not affiliated with a designer?

  • How do I open a trade account?
    Simply fill out the trade registration application on our website and upload the qualifying identification. We will contact you after we have reviewed your submission and when the set-up process has been completed. This process generally takes between one and two business days.   • How can I find price information or request a formal quote?

  • Do you stock readily available fabric and/or wallpaper?

  • What are your lead times on orders?
    We calculate production and shipping times separately and combine them to determine total lead time. Product lead times vary based on production processes and capacity and are determined upon receipt of your final order approval and the payment required to begin fulfillment of your order. Shipping lead times are based on where your order is produced and the shipping method selected when an order is placed. Please note, seasonal breaks and holiday closures may cause delays.   • Do you offer any rush delivery options?

  • Do you offer wallpaper installation services?
    CLOTH HALL does not offer installation services. We would be pleased to share with you the contact details of the professional installers we have worked with successfully. Please note, however, that CLOTH HALL will not assume responsibility for the quality of your experiences or any damages you may incur should you choose to work with one of our preferred partners.   • Do you offer interior design services?
    CLOTH HALL does not currently offer interior design services.
  • May I cancel or return my order?
    At CLOTH HALL, our curated lines are small batch and often made-to-order. When we receive your order, it is placed in a production queue. Textile and wallcovering orders may be canceled by emailing or calling us within one business day following order placement. After the one business day period, orders are not eligible for cancellation or refund. Cancelled orders are subject to a cancellation fee to be deducted from the amount of the refund.   • What is the minimum order required for your fabrics and wallpapers?
    Minimum order volumes vary by collection. Please anticipate a minimum of one to three meters per item for fabric orders, and at least five meters to possibly multiple rolls per item for wallpaper orders.   • Is customization available?
    Many of our fabrics and wallpapers can be adjusted to suit the unique needs of your project. Elements most commonly customized are colour, scale and base material.   • Can a wholly unique design be created?

    Many of our products have been produced with commercial end-uses in mind. In many cases we can work with the artists and designers we represent to achieve your desired quality and functionality.   • Are your products eco-friendly?
    The environment is top of mind at CLOTH HALL and is a pillar of our curation and product selection processes. The craftspeople we work with put a tremendous amount of effort into using the most conscientious materials and methods available and many of our collections are made-to-order which inherently reduces overproduction and waste.   • Do your fabrics have a stain-resistant finish?

  • What cleaning methods do you recommend for your products?
    For best results, we recommend all fabrics should be dry cleaned by a specialist in the cleaning of upholstery and drapery fabrics. Spot cleaning and the use of proprietary cleaning products are not recommended. Regular vacuuming and turning of cushions can prolong the life of covers and reduce the need for cleaning. We recommend all sofa and armchair loose covers, matching cushion covers and all sets of curtains be cleaned at the same time to ensure colour balance remains consistent. Most of our wallpapers can be gently wiped clean with a damp cloth. We recommend using a professional cleaning service to remove stains or excessive soil. Understanding the material content of the item that requires cleaning can be helpful when determining the best care method required. Our product specification sheets include this information.   • Will CLOTH HALL calculate how much fabric and/or wallpaper I need for my project?
    Please contact a professional workroom or installer for an estimate. Most professionals have their own formulas and requirements for calculating consumption and tolerances. Ultimately, they are responsible for ensuring enough material is ordered to execute your project. Individual product pages on our website include pattern repeat dimensions, widths, content, and the format details your partners will require when making their estimates. Please take note of the details on our product pages. If additional meterage is required, it likely will come from a new production run and therefore new dye lot.   • Why are your fabrics and wallpapers sold in different formats?
    Our boutique fabric and wallpaper lines are designed and produced in a variety of locations worldwide: Some have their own unique standard formats, some are handmade by artisans working on various table widths, and some offer trimmed vs. untrimmed product. Each of our collections has its own personality and special attention must be paid to how the individual item is sold. Please ensure the professional workroom or installer you are working with understands repeat dimensions, widths and format when calculating the needs of your project.
