Kate Golding is a surface pattern designer located in Bonavista, Newfoundland. Inspired by her granny's 1970's toile de jouy curtains and the textiles in the family caravan, Kate became obsessed with pattern design at an early age. Fascinated by the small details in daily life and the beauty of her natural surroundings, Kate unites the world as she sees it with her passion for interior decoration. 
Kate has spent her lifetime seeing the world through repeated patterns and visualizing commonplace details as tiles to be repeated across everything imaginable. All Kate Golding wallpaper begins with sketches and drawings, forged by hand. They are then digitized to create repeating patterns. Her designs retail their own hand-drawn quality and the slight irregularity of layered colour, characteristic of Kate's work, is reminiscent of traditional screen printing.
