Every Cat Alexander Design Studio wallpaper and textile is based on an original piece of artwork, inspired by a deep admiration and exploration of Turkish Ebru marbling and Japanese Suminagashi techniques. Cat mixes her own inks and pigments, methodically works them into basins of natural sea moss and water, and then carefully submerges treated paper to capture the design.

Each design is then digitally reproduced to create a wallpaper or textile that evokes a feeling of nature, movement, and meditation.
