Founded by artist Cara George, OTEA brings a painterly perspective to fabrics and wallcoverings, balancing old-world richness with a playful sensibility. Named for her great-aunt Otea Pollera, the studio is rooted in Italian heritage and the stories of the women in Cara’s family. Her original watercolours draw on folk art, botanical forms and architectural detail, reimagining familiar motifs through expressive colour and the character of the painted mark. With fabrics in natural cotton and Belgian linen, alongside a complementary wallpaper collection, OTEA invites a thoughtful layering of pattern, bringing warmth, individuality and an unexpected charm to every interior.
